For the sake of this podcast I decided to join a Fantasy Football league at work. The only issue was all I knew about fantasy football was that you draft players and you hope they play well to earn you points. I knew if I wanted a better shot at the pot at the end of the fantasy football rainbow that I needed more information. I reached out to my world of Facebook friends and found the spouse of a friend, his name is Pat, that created a Fantasy Football website, www.fandraftic.com. He was kind enough to sit down with me and go over some of the basics and a bit of intricacies of Fantasy Football.

Here is the link to the MP3 or streaming file, and as always, this podcast is available on iTunes!

During our conversation we discuss my team that I drafted, which really was a bunch of luck with having 2nd pick. I plan on doing some updates on my team and how I’m doing through out the football season. Just for fun.

Here’s my team:

RB – Arian Foster
RB – DeMarco Murray
QB – Tony Romo
QB – Peyton Manning
WR – Jordy Nelson
TE – Greg Olsen
WR – Demaryius Thomas
RB – Ben Tate
K – David Akers
Defense – Philadelphia
TE – Kyle Rudolph
WR – Michael Crabtree
RB – Cedric Benson
TE – Martellus Bennett
QB – Jake Locker

This week enjoy a conversation between Azure a grown up and Elias, a 4 year old dinosaur expert. It’s a short one, but a good one!

Here is the link to the MP3 file, or you may visit iTunes!

The continued conversation with my good friend, and TV connesiur, Erika. She joined me for a lengthy conversation about 40 of the new TV shows due out this fall on the major TV networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW. At the end of the episode we talk about some of our current and past TV favorites because, if you’re like us, there really wasn’t much we wanted to watch this season!

Below you’ll find a link to the podcast (iTunes now included), a link to the TV Guide list we used along with a link to our show notes that contain a link to the trailers we watched.  We would LOVE to hear from you! Comment on this blog and let us know what you think about these shows! Did we miss the mark? Which shows will you be purposely avoiding or DVRing?

Here’s a link to the MP3 or stream of the podcast, or, you can find The Lazy Learner on iTunes!

Here is the list from TV Guide we used to base our content. We’ll make it half way down the list during this podcast.

Here is the link to our show notes for this episode which also include links to trailers. Please don’t judge us or correct our grammar. They’re just notes and we’re both very sensitive about our English skills.
